I did something scary tonight but it seems to have worked out. My iPhone was glitching in a few ways, and the only Apple solution was to restore it to factory conditions and hope my backup on my computer brings all my stuff back. I found out that I had to call Medicare because they currently won't pay my physical therapist because they think the 2011 car accident insurance should still be covering me, so my therapist won't let me schedule any appointments. I found a substantial dent in the back passenger door of my car today. Some paint is scraped off, and one part of the door's edge no longer lies flat against the frame, though at least the door still opens and closes. I finally got my cell phone photos transferred, so now you can see the disaster I wanted to show you guys when my downstairs neighbor's car rammed my parked car at what must have been ludicrous speed in January 2012, an event that occasionally haunts me as I look for new car insurance today. I am so glad I wasn't in it when this happened. ( photos of wtf )

My car's odometer flipped over to 100,000 miles today, especially amazing considering all the craziness in January 2012 that made me almost give Civic up. In less happy news, the side back bumper on the driver's side was scraped while my poor Civic was parked and minding its own business. When I went out today to get into my car to drive to a dental appointment, I saw that the driver's side mirror was 3/4 of the way off and hanging. Somebody had hit it with their car sometime between 9:15 p.m. last night and 2:30 p.m this afternoon and moved on without a word.
